Watched the first two episodes and I am very happy with the path the creators have taken to create a new series from the original avatar the last airbender series,keeping it fresh and with subtle references to the original.I can't wait to watch the rest of the upcoming episodes.
This proves how 2d animation is still a very powerful format for telling stories that are believable and lovable.The fight scenes showing fire,earth,air and water bending are awesome,not to mention the slow motion parts.I love how the series has started out.Pretty sure it would suck if it was a 3d series especially for facial emotions and believable movements.Wonder what applications Nickelodeon is using for this series as the artsyle seems more Japanese than western.
So glad its not like the movie which wasn't in anyway like the series I watched.Legend of Korra simply RULES!!

No worries,Mez.I stumbled on it while I was checking out a 3d riggers youtube channel.It was among the featured channels on the page.I clicked it and I saw solid GOLD!!I have learnt so much from the vids,have been practicing since yesterday.
A new version?Thanks for letting me know but I doubt I will be able to make any retas tutorials anytime soon cause of my projects and work.Hopefully,some time.Are u animating anything with it?
